We, Dorset Youth Marching Band, Wimborne's Town Band have just completed the 2009 Illuminated Carnival Season. As usual it was a busy season and we performed to our best throughout, coming away with several awards. The band marched through some of the South of England's longest carnival routes and sounded brilliant all the way.

The season started with Sturminster Newton and ended with Warminster Carnival. The spectators were out in force at every carnival, lining the streets and waiting with plenty of applause. Although Warminister Carnival marks the end of the illuminated carnival season, DYMB still have plenty left for the final 2 months of 2009. December is looking to be one of our busiest Christmas's yet. Make sure you're on the look out for us!
