We were reunited with Father Christmas today as we prepared to march as part of his parade from Poole Quay down to the Dolphin Shopping Centre, where he will take residence in his Grotto. We joined the parade, which included our friends from the Bournemouth Carnival Band and Dolphin Marching Band.

We set off from the Quay and marched down Poole High Street blasting out the festive and marching pieces as we went. Soon we were at the entrance to the Dolphin Shopping Centre and Santa headed in. We played a couple of Christmas tunes before marching back up the High Street to the starting point.

We packed up our kit and headed in our separate directions. This has been a brilliant weekend for DYMB and has put us all in a brilliant festive mood ready for the rest of the Christmas Season.
