The Blandford Carnival marks the start of the Autumn Illuminated carnivals for the Quarterjacks. We watched as our friends in the Talbot Corps of Drums Youth Marching Band headed off in the parade and soon it was our turn.

We marched through the streets of Blandford with the carnival playing to the crowds that gathered. We marched through the town centre blasting out a range of pieces before heading to the finishing point.

This was a brilliant start to the carnival season, with the DYMB sounding on form after a good summer. We look forward to rest autumn has to offer!
