The Armed Forces Day is a UK wide event, being supported throughout the entire country. We were taking part in the Sherborne Parade, one of the parades organised by the Dorset Royal British Legion. We were one of three bands who were present with servicemen, cadets and veterans all ready to parade through the town.

It was a very hot day and the band was smaller than usual. We were short of the majority of the senior members for this event, so this really was the core of the youth band showing off what they had. They did a brilliant job and showed just how talented the band can be.

Soon, the parade was over and the band headed back home. Well done to all those who took part!
